Architectural & Engineering firm in New York City has an immediate opening for a full-time motivated and talented AutoCAD-2D professional.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Key Responsibilities:
• Design and create detailed, professional-quality drawings for temporary equipment (e.g., sheds, scaffolds, fences, roof protection, enclosures) using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret existing construction drawings.
• Fastly and accurately apply what we trained you for, to provide solutions for different design challenges, ensuring compliance with local codes and standards.
• Work independently to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy in all drawings.
• Continuously learn about new regulations and requirements related to temporary equipment installations.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback from team members, clients, or regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture, Building Engineering, Building Technology, or related equivalent drafting experience.
• Minimum one years of professional experience in construction.
• Proficient in AutoCAD is a MUST and must have access to it.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and must have access to it.
• Basic in Microsoft Excel and must have access to it.
• Active Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
• Candidate must have a good grasp of the English language.
• Ability to work from 9am to 5pm NY time

Compensation — TBD upon interview, based on experience.
